Custom AI App Development

Custom AI app development is the process of designing and building software around one specific business problem, with AI models doing the reading, writing, matching or decision support inside it. AI Easy Mode handles the whole path — scoping, design, build, integration and deployment — and hands you an application your team can use on day one.

Generic AI tools stop where your business starts

Off-the-shelf assistants know the internet. They do not know your price book, your job numbers, your CRM fields or the way your team actually closes a file. So work still gets copied between tabs, and the AI stays a novelty instead of doing a job.

  • Staff paste context into a chat window every time, then paste results back out
  • Nothing is logged, so there is no audit trail and no reuse
  • Rules that matter to you — pricing, approvals, compliance — live in someone's head

One application, one job, done properly

We build a real application: your data, your rules, your interface. The AI sits inside the workflow rather than beside it — reading the document, drafting the reply, ranking the queue — and every action is recorded, reviewable and repeatable.

  • Purpose-built screens instead of a blank prompt box
  • Human review wherever a mistake would be expensive
  • Your data stays in infrastructure you own and control

Who this is for

  • Owners and operators who have one expensive, repetitive process
  • Teams who would otherwise hire developers for a single internal product
  • Companies whose workflow is too specific for off-the-shelf SaaS

What we actually build

Document intake

Upload a PDF, get structured fields extracted, verified against your records and pushed into your system — with the original page shown beside every value for review.

Quote assistant

Describe the job in plain language and get a priced quote back using your rate card, your margins and your terms, ready for a human to approve and send.

Knowledge copilot

An internal assistant answering from your manuals, contracts and past jobs, with citations back to the source document so answers can be checked.

Triage and routing

Inbound requests classified, prioritised and assigned automatically, so the right person sees the right work first thing in the morning.

How we do it

  1. 01

    Diagnose

A working session on the process itself: who touches it, how long it takes, where it breaks, and what a good outcome looks like in numbers.

  2. 02

    Prototype

A clickable version in your hands early, so you are reacting to a real interface instead of a slide deck.

  3. 03

    Build and integrate

Production build, connected to your existing systems, with permissions, logging and error handling from the start.

  4. 04

    Deploy and hand over

We launch it, train the people who use it, and leave you with the code, the accounts and the documentation.

Typical integrations

  • CRMs
  • Accounting and invoicing
  • Email and calendar
  • Spreadsheets and shared drives
  • Payment providers
  • Internal databases and APIs

Why it's worth doing

Fits the way you work

The software bends to your process instead of your team bending to someone else's product.

You own it

Code, data and hosting accounts are yours. No per-seat pricing that grows every time you hire.

Scoped to finish

We build one useful thing and ship it, then decide together whether a second phase is worth it.

Cost and timeline

Every build is quoted after a free scoping call, because a single-screen tool and a multi-team platform are not the same project. Most first builds are deliberately narrow so they reach production in weeks rather than quarters, and they are quoted as a fixed-fee project rather than an ongoing per-seat subscription.

§ FAQ

Questions people ask before starting

What is custom AI app development?
It is building an application around one business problem, with AI handling the language, document or decision-support work inside it. Unlike a general chat tool, a custom AI app has your data, your rules and screens designed for the specific task.
Do we need our own AI models?
Almost never. Most business problems are solved by connecting an existing model to your data and your rules. Training a custom model is expensive and only worth it in narrow cases, and we will tell you plainly if yours is one of them.
Who owns the code and the data?
You do. We build in accounts you control and hand over the repository, the infrastructure and the documentation at the end of the project.
What if the AI gets something wrong?
We design for that. Anything consequential goes through human review, sources are cited where answers come from documents, and every action is logged so mistakes are visible and correctable.

Tell us the problem. We'll tell you if we can help.

A free 30-minute call, a written scope, and a fixed number before anything gets built. If software isn't the answer, we'll say that too.
